3rd Years Visit Dáil Éireann

As part of their CSPE action project, two of our 3rd year groups visited Dáil Éireann on December 6th. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and received a tour from Meath West TD Damien English. Well done to our 3rd years for planning and organising the trip, and to their teachers Ms Brown and Ms Walsh for facilitating.

Congratulations to Ranjana Singh (Class of 2018), who has been awarded an All Ireland Scholarship. Ranjana, who is currently studying in Trinity College Dublin, received her award at a ceremony on Saturday 10th November at University of Limerick.

TY Fieldtrip to Turlough Hill

As part of their Geography course, our Transition Years visited Turlough Hill ESB generating station on Thursday November 29th. They toured the station deep within the Wicklow Mountains and visited the control room and the artificial lake 700m above sea level. Thank you to the ESB for hosting us and to Mr McCoy and Ms Walsh for organising.
