November Remembrance

On Wednesday 14th November, we held our November Remembrance services in the school. Each year group gathered in the Phoenix Theatre for a time of reflection, prayer and song to remember our loved ones. As part of the service, students wrote the names of those they wish to remember on leaves and placed them on our Memory Tree.

Our Modern Foreign Languages tour for 3rd year students took place from the 17th – 20th October. Students travelled to France and Germany to put their language skills to use and to sample French and German culture. Many thanks to our teachers who accompanied students on the tour.

Basketball Updates: Mercy Navan vs Scoil Mhuire Trim

The results from our basketball matches against Scoil Mhuire Trim on Friday October 12th: our Under-16 team fought valiantly but were defeated on a scoreline of 20-28. Our Under-19 team triumphed on a scoreline of 33-16. Both teams played fantastically and were a credit to our school. Thank you to our basketball coaches, Ms Commane, Ms Dignam and Ms Walsh.

Join choirs from St Joseph’s Mercy Secondary School and St Patrick’s Classical School, along with The Celtic Tenors in St Patrick’s Classical School on Thursday 25th October for what promises to be a memorable night of music and song.
