Congratulations to 6th Year students Monika and Stella Dukalska on their recent success in the John Hooper Medal for Statistics Competition, run by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
Their project ‘Are You Confident?’ involved the collection and analysis of data as a way of addressing the issue of self-esteem in young people.
Their innovative use of statistics to highlight this important social issue earned the girls an order of merit prize. Well done to Monika and Stella on their success and thank you to their teachers for their support and encouragement.
