On the morning of the 19th of January, the Transition Year classes embarked on their ski trip to Italy. We left bright and early from Dublin Airport with our teachers, Ms Brady, Ms Casserly and Ms Moran.
On the day we arrived, we took a day trip into the city of Verona also known as the City of Love. We spent this time sightseeing and shopping as Verona is a city of great history and culture. After we left Verona we went to the ski resort, as we were all exhausted we were in bed quite early that night!
We spent our next four days learning how to ski with our amazing ski instructors. We were split into groups based on our abilities and we all enjoyed the skiing massively. Other activities that we took part in during the ski trip were tobogganing, ice skating, a night adventure, movie night, quiz night and awards night. These activities made the trip so much more entertaining. We all left Italy sad to be going back to Ireland but happy with the activities we got to experience.
We all loved the trip to Verona and we would love to go back some day to continue to be taught how to ski. We are thankful to everyone who helped to organise the trip as we had such an incredible time!
