In the senior competition, Annie from 6th year won best competition for her short story &#8220;Nimhneach Strand&#8221; and Emma&#8217;s short story, &#8220;The Great Biscuit Debate&#8221; was highly commended.<\/p>\n<p>From 3rd year, Heather-Mai and Emily were jointly awarded best composition for<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">\u00a0their short stories, &#8220;Silence&#8221; and &#8220;Wings&#8221; and from 5th year, Niamh&#8217;s short story, &#8220;The Mystery of the Maid in the Night-time&#8221; was highly commended.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>A huge thank you to all the students who entered the competition. Creative writing is alive and well in St Joseph&#8217;s if the entries are anything to go by!
