A huge well done to our U19s basketball team, who showed fantastic heart and determination in their quarter-final today, despite a 44–23 result to SHS Drogheda. We’re incredibly proud of their performances all season. Thanks to our senior captains Ellen and to our other captain Eve who couldn’t be with us today but video called us on Microsoft Teams for the game (pictured in photo). We wish the best of luck to all schools in the North East Basketball League in their upcoming finals!
Massive congratulations to our Sixth year basketball players – Ellen, Zara, Elizabeth, Maggie, Martha and Rebecca – on their last league game today! After six fantastic years of commitment, teamwork and passion for Mercy basketball, we’ll miss them hugely on the court. Coaches Ms. Farrell, Ms. Dignam and all the basketball teams wish them the very best for the rest of the school year and for their amazing adventures in the future!
