Exciting news for Mercy! STEAM Meath, a fully-funded STEAM learning program supported by Meta, has launched in eleven primary and eight secondary schools. Dr. Eadaoin McGovern (Director, Navan Education Support Centre) and Aoife Flynn (Head of Community Development at Meta) visited the school to launch the initiative, which focuses on robotics, teamwork, innovation, and real-world problem-solving, in line with the Irish curriculum and Digital Strategy for Schools.
Participating schools will receive support packages encompassing teacher training, student workshops, and resources.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Mercy, fostering a passion for STEAM subjects and interdisciplinary learning.
