We are delighted to announce that Osarhumwense Osariemen (Class of 2023) has been awarded our inaugural Aisling Brady STEM Scholarship. This reflects all the hard work and dedication Osarhumwense has shown in science, technology, engineering, and maths. She is currently studying physiotherapy with Trinity College Dublin.

Ms. Aisling Brady, BSc. Science & Mathematics, was a Maths, Science and Physics teacher in St Joseph’s Secondary School from 2013 until her untimely death in 2020. She was a dedicated teacher with a passion for her subjects. She imbued all of her students with a love of learning and an enquiring mind. To honour Aisling’s memory and love of STEM subjects, the school’s Board of Management has developed a scholarship for students who pursue STEM Third Level courses. This scholarship is funded by monies generously gifted to the school from fundraising for Aisling’s care.
