As part of our Life Skills programme in Transition year, some of our Mercy girls have been volunteering with RDA Ireland at Brookfield stables. The students volunteer in assisting Adults with Additional and special needs access equine therapy and experience horse riding.Yesterday, TY students, Libby, Sophie May and Amy attended the RDA Volunteers conference in Mullingar with other local volunteers. Well done girls! This valuable community work is part of their Gaisce Bronze award.
