Last week our Transition Year students lit up the stage of our Phoenix Theatre with their fantastic original production, “Going 4 Gold.” https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t4d/2/16/1f3ad.png” alt=”1f3ad.png” />https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t75/2/16/2728.png” alt=”2728.png” />
Across five performances throughout the week, the cast delivered energetic, confident and thoroughly entertaining shows to packed audiences who laughed, cheered and fully embraced the spirit of the performance. From the creativity of the script to the enthusiasm and commitment shown on stage, the production was a wonderful showcase of the talent, teamwork and dedication of our TY students.
Taking a show from the first idea to the final curtain call is no small achievement, and the girls rose to the challenge brilliantly, demonstrating confidence, creativity and incredible stage presence throughout the week. Their hard work truly paid off in a production that was both memorable and hugely enjoyable for everyone who attended.
A sincere well done to all the girls involved in this amazing achievement, you should be extremely proud of what you accomplished. https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t9d/2/16/1f44f.png” alt=”1f44f.png” />
A special word of thanks must also go to our dedicated drama teachers Ms. O’Sullivan, Ms. Hickey and Ms. Brady, whose guidance, encouragement and countless hours of work behind the scenes helped bring this wonderful production to life.
Bravo to everyone involved in making “Going 4 Gold” such a golden success! https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t7f/2/16/1f31f.png” alt=”1f31f.png” />
